Pledge!
I’ll bitch and moan about John Aielli but I love KUT. I’ve been a member here and there over the last 30 years, first joining when I was in high school with money from bailing hay over the summer. I think I joined during Phil Music after the city council meeting back when Phil Music really was fill music. I remember anxiously awaiting the end of the city council meetings telling the politicians to shut up so I could hear Phil Music.
I donated tonight to my all time favorite radio show, Left of the Dial and the best DJ on the radio, Jeff McCord.
But I did mention that John Aielli needs to go. You should too.

Today I pledged during Jay Trachtenberg’s show because they were having a competition to see if they could beat John Aielli. I got right on the phone to make my pledge and my comment! I told them that I was pledging now because of the competition and that I almost didn’t give money this year because of John, Could he please stop talking so much!
I love Jeff Mc Cord’s show, too. And Jay’s. More people need to complain!

OMG! I just found your site - here I thought I’d been suffering alone all these years. For almost a year now I’ve just turned KUT off at 9 - ever since John purchased a new shower curtain and couldn’t stop talking about it, how it was new and how he’d gone to the store to buy it, how excellent it looked in his bathroom… You know the drill. Shockingly, he didn’t even play any shower curtain-themed songs.
